Working with Ecodrive, veritree, and our planting partner, American Forests, we are helping to restore the Hiawatha National Forest. Located in Michigan’s Northern Peninsula, this region was intensely logged and burned during the 1800s and 1900s and largely replaced by monoculture spruce that severely decreased the forest’s potential for biodiversity.

The goal of this restoration project is to help return complexity to the forest, which will also increase its biodiversity and enhance its ecosystem to the benefit of wildlife, communities and the climate.
