We've planted over 100,000 trees to date on past campaigns. Planting trees means that you will be directly supporting our Earth in the fight against the climate crisis we ALL face. YOU can make a difference for our future by reducing your
carbon footprint and doing your part. Investing in the future of our planet starts with planting trees today.
The average person needs to plant at least 22 trees to offset their annual carbon footprint. Will you join us in helping to save our environment?

"Why I entered? I live far away from my family so I have to take a lot of flights to go visit them. I also sometimes fly for work, especially before the pandemic. I have a few websites that I look to offset my flight footprint with, but I especially liked
Ecodrive because of their FAQ section on the website that explains everything in detail, from what type of trees are planted to how they go about it and support communities at the same time. Plus I won this awesome bike!"

Where will you
plant my trees?
Great question! For your carbon offset, we are planting mangrove trees in North-Western Madagascar (near Mahajanga) and hiring local villagers living in poverty to plant and maintain your trees! Each dollar goes towards the cost of the
seedling (mangrove seedlings are called propagules), and the wage of the local villagers we hire to plant and maintain the growth of the trees, helping to ensure survivability rates stay high. Alongside carbon reduction, poverty alleviation
is a huge part of what we do here at Ecodrive (together with our partners, Eden Projects). We plant mangroves because they are some of the highest carbon-absorbing trees in the world, giving you the most value for your carbon reduction!
